Josh Price has announced that he will enter the two final TCR UK races of 2018 at Donington Park on October 13th/14th, driving his Honda Civic FK2. Price contested the Knockhill and Brands Hatch rounds of the championship, in which his best results were a pair of podium finishes at the Scottish track where he was third and second in the two races.
Other race commitments during 2018, together with a frustrating electrical issue at Brands Hatch, meant Josh elected to sit out the majority of the TCR UK season but the 19-year old from Hemel Hempstead has decided to enter the last event at Donington.
Josh Price said: “It’s a shame that I couldn’t continue to build on the results I had from Knockhill at Brands Hatch, and it was unfortunate I couldn’t commit to doing the full season. I’ve been interested in TCR UK ever since the championship was announced and so it’ll be great to end my 2018 season at Donington – I’ve had mixed fortunes there in the past, but I think I can end the year on a high.
“I want to wish both Dan and Ollie the best of luck as they go head to head for the title and hopefully I’ll have one of the best seats in the house from which to watch the battle. I’ll be concentrating on getting a good result and I can then sit down and weigh up my options for 2019.”
